I'd use x or y. Control stick is just so much less consistent. Plus you should really be using wave dash out of shine (for most scenarios). Allows for MUCH quicker followups.

I think he's trying to say you can shorten the side-b. You cannot l-cancel a side-b.

Honestly focus on getting consistent with fast falling --> l cancel after hitting various parts of your opponents shield. The small variations in where you initially hit their shield can affect the timings of the l-cancel which tends to mess people up. Try practicing shffl'd aerials into shine...

Yes I use X and can doubleshine somewhat consistently. Westballz apparently uses X so that's proof within itself that X is viable in terms of technicality. It all comes down to muscle memory. Just practice practice practice

Imo the best falco is the efficient one. Learning advanced pressure can be useful in some situations but majority of the time shine grabs > multishines/westballz pressure (Dr. PP has great shine grab use).
