    Character Competitive Impressions

How does Sonic do when characters are more aggressive though? I think when dealing with rushdown characters, it could be a tendency to turtle up, which leaves you at the mercy of their mixups. However, going more offensive could work out better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqTf_CziPww...

I feel like other characters do these things better. I think Crash Bombs are (or should be) a bigger part of Mega Man's game than they usually are. And Metal blades are a big tool from him so limiting them is a pretty big deal. I also think Mega Man generally has difficulty with people...

Mega Man maybe? I feel like mid range spacers don't do well in doubles.

Your teemmate has to react to Flare Blitz, but you shouldn't be using when he's in your path, and he should be more in sync with you. It does have less value as a recovery. I don't play doubles too much, but I find on balance it helps cover his weaknesses.

I actually really like Charizard for doubles. I'm hardly an expert on the format, but Flare Blitz can be harder to react to, and Charizard can take better advantage of his tools when he's not under so much pressure to approach.

Unfortunately, they took away most of Charizard's good stuff from Brawl. Dtilt was probably his best KO option, his grab feels quite a bit laggier, rock smash doesn't work as well imo despite the super armor, and the power buff on his bair doesn't make up for the speed loss. I just can't...

Charizard has things that helps him out over other fatties (better offstage game, good jab, flare blitz, super armor), but he doesn't get the same kind of reward off of his hits, and he struggles just as much to get in. Played in typical heavyweight fashion, he's not as effective for that...

Knockback. Still, the problem is how she can actually hit with it in the limited timeframe that deep breathing lasts.

    Character Competitive Impressions

Generally when discussing tier lists of competitve potential, we assume players playing at the optimum. With no disrespect to Brolylegs, we should probably assume functioning arms when we discuss character potential. Of course, there will be people who, for whatever reason, will play better...

Unfortunately, none of those specials have KO potential, aside from Sun Salutation charged by deep breathing. If she had a couple of reliable KO moves, she'd be decent I think. Only reliable ones I've been able to use are B/Uair, and Salutation, but those need deep breathing to get to average...

It seems that pretty much every character has their proponents, but I haven't yet seen someone defend poor Wii Fit Trainer. Anyone think they're anywhere above bottom tier?

    Character Competitive Impressions

Eh... I'm not going to say much more, cause after testing some things, I feel you probably know Charizard better than me. Maybe I have to give him another chance. However, I will say that I'm not sure how you're getting the percentages. Unless the Wii U version is very different than the 3DS...

As someone who seconded Zard (Trainer technically but Zard was my favorite)... second from the bottom makes sense for him. You kind or brushed off the end lag for his aerials, but it's a big deal. Nair is the only one that can sort of be used as an approach. Fair is too laggy to hit a...

Link's projectile game isn't as versatile as other characters, and his up close/air game is somewhat below average. He's not as bad as he was in Brawl, but he can't effectively keep the better characters away, and he struggles when they close in.
