    Not at all. I just don't see why discussion such as the ones going on in the animal abuse thread or the gay / lesbian thread have to be redirected to the DH. The DH is for intelligent debate.

    There are plenty of other topical discussions going on in the PRoom, but suddenly if it's about religion, politics, or ethics, it's a "fire" that needs to be put out, because "THE MASSES CAN'T HANDLE IT LOL!!!"

    Xsyven, I like you man, but recently I find I'm having a harder time liking you.

    You seem to have a tendency to close threads that contain topics that need to be discussed. If stupid people don't have a chance to debate things, they're never going to learn. And there are a lot of stupid people on SWF.

    Due to the convoluted process of DH admittance, there's no possible way all of those people are going to join the DH just to finish a conversation. I think closing threads simply because they spark serious discussion is counterintuitive and encourages ignorance.

    You should know better than anyone. You can't expect ignorant people to sympathize with your viewpoint if they haven't had a chance to look at the facts.
