I'll add in that it's good for getting past falco's lasers. If he doesn't shoot them at the lowest height, puff's wavedash will squeeze under them :)

When I use nair I find that D3 usually goes into the (long and unwanted) "throw back" animation instead of his regular nair. How can I get the standard nair to come out so I can just bounce it back?

I've been wondering this for a while: how do you get the short hop dair to auto cancel?

Depending on the angle you might also need/want to jump again.

Marth and Roy are great under platforms, but I still think that Dedede has a lot to gain from staying up there at certain times. I ended up racking up tons of percent on a marth one time by doing this, because it prevents him from using his standard under-platform tools. Yes, he can roll away...

It doesn't work on the shorter ones like pikachu and metaknight, at least on battlefield. It's really only worth doing for the tallest characters imo. What exactly is the danger of doing it to marth and roy? Fsmash?
