    I lurk all the time but I've never actually played Mafia, online or irl ._. I'm just waiting around for the next Newbie game, and I'll give it a go then. It looks super fun but I expect I'd be horrendous at it haha

    The key to being a good town player is to always be healthily skeptical of things that come "too easy" or are "too obvious", and always being willing to entertaining reasonable alternatives to what the current accepted status quo is. Also, remember that you should always be trying to play according to what is best for your role, and also for your town wincon. Every role is best suiting to different types of play to make that role the most effective for town gains, so let that guide you learning not only how to modify your own playstyle and make it more dynamic, but also use that to help you read other experienced players. =)

    And of course, be active and read well. Should go without saying or course hahaha, though I admit I'm no where near perfect when it comes to the former. XP
