    I Struggle against falco

Falco combo's can usually be escaped by holding hard left or right and being prepared to tech when necessary. The pressure is more difficult to escape though. If you're on the ground, in a scramble situation or shield pressure, falco normally has advantage (although it's high risk if he's not...

Resting Sheik's landing on side platforms reactable?

I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be a lot of time to react when sheik lands on a platform. There's definitely enough time to rest a stage landing that's not too far, but is it possible to react and reach sheik if she decides to go battlefields platform? Ok so the way I understand it...

Holding a Turnip in Shield vs Jigglypuff.

Thanks you two! So the main idea is that decisions that are usually made safe using fade backs are now in her oos turnip throw arc, which needs to be considered. Rising FH aerials if she didn't throw as I was landing are ok. Sounds like I should bait the throw so my fade back options become...

Holding a Turnip in Shield vs Jigglypuff.

If you've got puff matchup experience you're qualified! I'll trade you tips from a puff player!

Holding a Turnip in Shield vs Jigglypuff.

Hey everyone I play jiggs and sometimes peach and have some questions. So Jigglypuff can interact with peaches shield safely using fade backs and some mix ups, but if peach has a turnip in shield, I've heard this gives her an overall advantage against puff in that situation. In what ways does...

    Is aggressive Puff play practical?

We'll when you put it that way. The concepts sound a little more useful now. I think when they hear the terms, most people consider 'defense' the act of not approaching and waiting for action from your opponent, and 'offense' the act of taking initiative. The way you use them to define specific...

    Taking advantages of patterns

I really like this post and question, but I'm surprised no one else decided to give any input. I'm going to give it some thought and post once I've come up with answers.

    Is aggressive Puff play practical?

What? I'm not sure why you would practice techniques arbitrarily separated into 'defense' or 'offense' -.- I mean the terms are useful for describing the nature of various behavior sometimes or play styles, but that's not what they meant. Zhu and Cactuar meant you should pick specific techniques...

    Is aggressive Puff play practical?

Thanks for explaining conditioning Massive. And while the concepts of aggressive and defensive are useful for describing some behaviors, I think wizard was annoyed when people choose to play ONLY defensively or offensively. Since they would limit their own options.

    Is aggressive Puff play practical?

Hey Massive you seem to be a well of knowledge about puff! When you say train you mean conditioning right? How do I begin consciously and safely conditioning my opponents? I mean what's the goal of conditioning? What should I be looking for by doing it and can you give me some examples? It's...

What are good stage picks against Falco?

Fountain is pretty good if you're about the same neutral game level as the other player. It has a small amount of on stage area which is good for puff because you'll naturally get more edge guard situations off of pokes. Crouching under low platforms makes it difficult for Falco to approach with...

    Defensive Fox?

Ha xD Your profile picture threw him off. Magister did you think he came to the puff boards because we have experience getting camped by foxes?

    Jiggs vs Marth trouble

I think I could give some pretty solid advice on this match-up. It's one of my favorite ones to play actually. First lets start with how Marth works. Marth is one of those characters who has to be played in center stage, stage positioning is everything for Marth. Like you said, Marth is easy to...

Gota smash DI em' all! Fox's Upair!

Thanks Massive, and Ace! Some of this information between you two seemed a bit conflicting though... Massive, to be sure, were you saying that c-stick SDI can be done DURING the actual hit-lag? And if you're SDI'ing (Although it's worse due to being the c-stick) how would that affect auto-SDI...
