What, no Bramble Scramble? You'd think that one would nearly be a shoo-in as a stage as is. Or anything pirate themed. The DK series seems to have a thing for nautical invaders, Returns and DKC3 aside.

Nintendo has barely done anything with K.rool in...a long, long time really. Honestly, regulating him into a costume just sorta reinforces the notion that they're really reluctant to do anything with the character for some reason that is beyond me. No idea why either, though Nintendo themselves...

Talk about being blindsided. While its not a confirmation that K. Rool isn't properly in the game, that's still pretty substantial. Dixie's chances though are looking a slightly better, though Smash has never really been kind to DKC representation in the first place. Here's to hoping.

Hm, fair enough. I was going to say I always figured that her air game would lend itself better to the lighter characters, but Mario and Dedede are pretty good at the whole air thing. I'd be completely happy with that though, since those are the types I normally use. Kinda biased in that regard...

Oh look, I'm back. So, any idea what weight range Dixie would be? My gut feeling she'd be a light weight fighter, but given that she's marginally slower then Diddy in her debut (And still slightly below him in DKCIII), do you think that would edge her closer to the mid-range, just a little bit?

My joy for Dixie potentially being in is mired by the inclusion of...well, everyone else in the "leak". Leaves me a little lukewarm, but hey, I'll take it.

Not buying that leak, and just seeing whose included solidifies it for me. Really, the only one that looks remotely plausible is Bowser Jr, and that ain't saying much.

If Dixie doesn't lift items up with her hair or use her twirl-tackle thing, I'm going to disappointed. Only a little though, since that's assuming she makes the cut in the first place. ...Watch Klaptrap or that one afro'd kremlin make it in instead.
