Has Sakurai actually confirmed an exclusive single player / adventure mode for Wii U, though? It could well be the case that Wii U will get stage builder, home run contest, and a few other modes, but not a significant single player mode like most people want / expect.

I thought Sakurai said he'd be posting "funny and entertaining" PotD's now that Smash 3DS is out in Japan. None of his PotD's since that announcement have been funny, nor have any been entertaining.
