Tafokints and Omni Discuss Tensions Between the Melee and Smash 4 Community

At the time, Brawl was all we really had. So when Smash 4 comes out and it's just Better Brawl, naturally we're going to jump ship. Yes, partly because it is a new game, and partly because it improved on the gameplay we already liked. In comparison, Brawl became a much worse game. At least, to...

Pokken Fighters: It's an actual thing now!

We got 1 new character pretty much every month or so. We got Chandy on January 15th. February is coming to a close and all we've heard is "full roster" this and "full roster" that, meaning the 16 we already know are likely the final count.

Fierce Fencers: Five Experts Weigh In Mii Swordfighter

    Swordie co-main here; I prefer 1111.

Pokken Fighters: It's an actual thing now!

I guarantee you stage striking and such will not be a part of Pokken's competitive scene. Smash Bros. is literally the only game to have such convoluted rules regarding stages. Look at any other 3D fighter: Tekken; Soul Calibur; Dead or Alive. None of them really care about stages, and the...

How would such advantages even come about in the first place? I honestly don't know what you're saying, here.

And what else could they be? They go away after you use them.

Pokken Fighters: It's an actual thing now!

Literally half of Charizard's entire moveset involves him flying? Sceptile isn't a poison type?

Pokken Fighters: It's an actual thing now!

If anything, Shadow Mewtwo looks far too weak. His grabs are the weakest we've seen so far, just as a comparison. His moves also look slow, but that could just be the player controlling him not being very good.

Pokken Fighters: It's an actual thing now!

Chandelure's Power typing makes sense now. Just because it isn't close range, doesn't mean it's not Power. It still moves very slowly and hits incredibly hard, just at a distance instead. Gengar and Gardevoir are most likely Technique because of just how difficult and quirky they are to play...

Standard usually just means "to a lesser extreme". Braixen will still most likely be a zoner like Gardevoir, but will have better close-range capabilities to make up for slightly worse/harder projectile game.

Pokken Fighters: It's an actual thing now!

Just from my current opinions, the tiers look something like: Top: Gengar, Weavile Middle: Everyone else who even knows Bottom: Gardevoir

He had something like that for a little bit. Don't remember exactly what it was but it's gone now.

This... is a thing. Yup. Not sure if it's a positive or negative thing, but it's a thing.
