It depends on how you do it. I don't think rotating 2/7 stages every 6 months (as an example) could be considered either drastic or too frequent. I agree that changes should be carefully considered, but I don't like looking at a metagame as some absolute to strive for, more of a flash of a...

Haven't read the whole thread so forgive me if this has been suggested, but what about a rotating stagelist? The backroom or community as a whole could vote on 7 stages in some given period. From those stages players would each ban 1, then stagestrike for the first match. Standard counterpicking...

I dunno, I may be in the minority, but I hate how homogenized melee's competitive stages have become. I liked when mute city, poke floats, brinstar, etc. were legal. I'm interested in seeing how people feel about all the new stages. :phone:

I remember someone talking about a group stage striking system a while back. Mind elaborating on that again? I'm pretty hyped for better stage variety than melee! :phone:

Most likely coming to this. I can also bring a setup if people don't mind a TV with broken speakers.

Plus RAR already buffs melee DK by a huge amount without changing any of his moves. The spike on the F-air is a cool addition though.
