So I have been doing many matches against computers (level 8 & 9s) with Mewtwo. I could never seem to land any Bairs on aerial computers; they would just air dodge it every single time. I was having no problems with landing Nair, Fair, Uair, Dair... just with Bair. I could hit grounded opponents...

Ah yeah, that would work :) It would also help Mewtwo with long range combat - I think Mewtwo should be capable of fighting from distance as well as up-close, so I think that, if he ended up losing Shadow Ball, he should get another projectile with good range to make up for it (such as your idea).
