Fireballs. Lots and lots of fireballs. They're slow and floaty? Welcome to fireball land, punks.

Mario doesn't have any bad tilts in PM. utilt and dtilt for combo starters and ftilt for edgeguarding. The answer is really as much as you can get away with. Stop fast falling combo characters with it on their approach. Works wonders against Captain Falcon.

Aim to hit with the back of the heel towards the end of the animation. Basically, you send them in the direction the back of the heel is pointing.

That's actually a nerf in my opinion... being able to instantly cancel sideB by going off a ledge is wonderful on Battlefield and stages with platforms... :(

Of note: It's doable out of both the aerial and grounded versions of tapSideB.

I live 20 minutes from the venue and I know many, many important members of the Melee community... And I refuse to go. I have dealt with some of the TOs of SmashCon before as an assistant at another event and I have no interest in ever working with them again, either. Vote with your wallet...

Exceptionally underrated, much in the way Falco was in pre-2004 Melee. Unfortunately, Ness has quite a high tech ceiling, and this "false ceiling" that we're running into in current meta kind of keeps him lower than he should be. I see a few Ness players utilizing ATs, but few are pushing them...

He is largely unusable now. I am questioning the wisdom of the devs myself at this point. He's not Jiggly, Ice Climbers or Olimar in 3.0 bad, but he's definitely high low-tier or low mid-tier now. The problem was that the devs thought they were nerfing his recovery, but they didn't watch...

Has the PMDT changed a lot since 3.0? I mean, have members of the team left the project and been replaced with new members? Just curious.

Not much to talk about, I think. It was known to exist a while ago, but this is the first time many are seeing in tournament. There were a few people screaming for either Nintendude or G-reg's forfeit for "cheating", but I think they're nuts. It's clearly an accident, and G-reg himself...
