I've been searching all over fourms and asking people but they seem to not have any idea. Do any of you guys know how much a 1 Year Warranty at Gamestop costs for a Brand new Wii U? I've been people say it's around 39.99 but I need someone who knows the right price.

I'm about to get a Wii U tomorrow, i'm just going to go all out.

Once again just out of curiosity, how much money does the Warranty for a Wii U cost at EB Games, $30? $40?

Was planning on updating it in the background while playing Smash since it's going to take like 7 hours to download or is that a bad idea? Plus I heard downloading it from the Background is a much better option in case your Wii U gets Bricked by the lights going off which I doubt is going to...

I'm about to buy a Wii U in a couple of days so would not connecting to the Internet be a good idea so the Wii U wouldn't have to update or does it even matter? I'm talking about that huge update with the Wii U that's like 4GBs, not sure if it requires Internet though.

Just out of curiosity, if I were to buy a Wii U and get a Warranty from EB Games. Does that mean I'd have to bring it to EB for them to send it to Nintendo?

So, from what I've already read. The System can only be bricked if you were to format it correct?

How would it update when there wouldn't be any Internet Connection, lol.

Has anyone gotten the Error code while their Wii U has no Updates, like a straight out of the Box Wii U without that first Mandatory update? Was thinking of getting a Wii U and not connecting it to the Internet nor Updating it until this issue is fixed.
