I went to Smash Hard 7 today and even though I don't play smash 4, I had fun. There was a friendly set up for melee too so that was pretty cool.

Oh I forgot to mention this but I'm coming back this Saturday so perhaps the following week I can play melee at PnT.

This is great news! I hope this becomes a pivotal point in our scene.

That's the problem and also the purpose of this thread, there aren't any tournaments for Melee in the PSL general area. Personally, smashfests seem to be what we need to do first to get the tournament juices flowing.

It's official I'm going to visit my family in the north in a few days and I don't know when I'm coming back. I hope we can get a scene started sometime in the summer.

I might be going if I don't have to go visit family first. I'll let you in if I can later. Maybe we can meet up and have some friendlies.

Yea my parents would probably not like that but we could go to playntrade or something like that. If we had a place dedicated to us playing smash to go to that would be perfect.

Well it depends where do you have in mind? If it's at your house or something my parents will get really suspicious and whatnot.

Oh cool! I don't know if my parents will let me go to just anybody's house until I get more into the smash community so if you know anywhere we can meet, train, and generally play hmu.

I've asked before but is there any local melee events of any kind in PSL or close to PSL (15 mins away max)?

I have been practicing since last October and I've gotten pretty consistent with my SHL but my friend gave me his barely used controller to me and I've decided to use that instead of my worn old one. The problem is that I can't do reverse SHL with the controller. Is this just me messing up...

I've looked everywhere and I can't find any players or tournaments in the PSL area. The closest tournament I've found are all 1-2 hours away from where I live and it's pretty difficult to go out to those when I don't have a personal car yet. Any help would be appreciated.
