That event was self run by the community and was not run by EVO, like all other side events. There would probably be a side event also this year.

However even with that buff, Marth is still better than Lucina.

Sakurai was there on the second day which was the 2v2 matches with items on and friendly fire off, so that was not competitive in our standards. Also this was a event that Nintendo supported and being in Japan, they sent Sakurai there.

I do not hate the character of Roy, but having play many other fire emblem games, there are more better fire emblem characters they chose from. Actually in Ike's games, when Ike uses Aether, he throws his sword in air and swing down like he does in smash but he also attack again when he lands. While Chrom is just two grounded slashes. So he cannot have the aether recovery.
