Hey, everyone! So I have played smash 4 since it came out, but one thing I never understood is how do top players move their character without causing their character to slide? I know that shieldiny is one way to avoid this, but can be unsafe if read, or also jumping. Are there any other methods...

I did exactly as you guys advised and guess what? Had NO problem beating a FG glory, Mac! :D I think I was making the match up a LOT harder than it ACTUALLY is. It's easy to make it virtually impossible for Mac to get back to the stage. I can understand why he is such a low tier character now.

Thank you all so much for the replies! All of your information has helped a lot! I had the wrong idea while fighting him. I would go for stage spikes and stuff when that is just completely not needed. Cape and FLUDD work very well against him. I honestly never really noticed that Little Mac...

So... I play Smash competitively and I wanna start getting into the tournament scene a little later on this year, but I have a very difficult time against Little Mac while using Mario. How do I go about fighting him?? I seem to get caught in his jab often even with perfect shielding and trying...

Hey everyone! So... I have used the pro controller for about a year now for SM4SH and recently I got a GCN controller (Smash Edition). Is there any actual difference between these two controllers? I noticed that when I am using the Pro Controller (MIGHT just be me) I tend to notice like a frame...
