    Marth Vs. Sheik troubles

    My battle buddy is a Shiek main, and I play Fox, who unlike Marth, has a rather small grab range compared to Shiek. What I do is I run in as if I'm about to attack, wavedash back to bait out a reaction, and then smack him. Try that.

    Who do you feel is objectively the best character in the game?

    In my limited knowledge of Melee, I'd have to say Fox. He seems to have more options than the rest of the bunch, combo-wise. It's just a matter of having more moves, I guess.

    It's funny, I've actually only started playing because a few of my good friends are in the scene, not vice versa. Hope to see you at some stuff too,man.

    Tips on short hopping consistently?

    I sort of "sting" the edge of the button by flicking or sliding it with the edge of my thumb, the same as I do for wavedashing. It seems to work well for me a good amount of the time.

    I'm new to the Melee community, but I am loving 20xx so far. My one question is, should I be running it on a CRT, if I have loaded the game on my wii via SD?
