Suggestion: Make the P:M Launcher Initialize the Wii U GameCube Adapter

Sorry for the untimely bump of the thread, just thought I'd chime in again on this topic. The lag is highly dependent of the converter's quality, something which this converter doesn't really have. The lag it introduces is bearable, but the image quality is completely ruined with almost level 5...

Suggestion: Make the P:M Launcher Initialize the Wii U GameCube Adapter

Now that you mention it, using the controller configuration files made for Nintendont on a solution for Project M would be a healthy way of solving this problem. I doubt these files are under the GPL license that cover Nintendont, so using them shouldn't bring about any license issues, so as...

Suggestion: Make the P:M Launcher Initialize the Wii U GameCube Adapter

An ideal solution to this problem would be to get the vWii to detect the adapter as an internal Gamecube controller port, much like an original Wii has them built-in. I don't think this can be done, but at the very least it should be possible to do this on a game-by-game basis. As such, it's...

    Notable AI changes

Programming.txt at its best. Sleeping does wonders to your coding skills. I'm sure you know that by now. :)

    Notable AI changes

There's only been significant changes to Fox and Falco's AI [1]. AFAIK, the rest of the cast remains pretty much unchanged, including their tendency to SD themselves. Seems like that last problem is pretty much impossible to solve at the moment. [1]...

WiiU Official GC Adapter & P:M

So does that mean I can use any USB loader to get my Gamecube controller to play along with Project M or do I have to use one loader in specific?

WiiU Official GC Adapter & P:M

Simple question: is it possible on a WiiU to use a Gamecube controller in Project M with the official Gamecube adapter?

    Project M Social Thread Gold

Anyone knows how exactly the addons system will work with launcher 1.11? Just found out about the update today.

Is the CPU's AI any better in 3.5?

Yo KingClubber, your new Fox is pretty great. Only thing I'm not too fond of is its persistence on firing lasers at the opposite direction of its target. Other than that, it's fantastic! You said a few posts back in this topic that you're still having issues with getting the AI to stop SD...

Project M's AI is too good (A compilation of AI Glitches)

I personally think that Fox feels a lot threatening now. The only problem I've found is the pattern it uses to shoot lasers at the player: two in your direction, followed by two other lasers in the opposite direction. It loops this pattern until you drop your shield, after which it moves towards...

Project M 3.5 Trailer Released, Release Date Revealed

Does it have to do with the video part of the game's engine? I can see PAL's 50Hz being a bother to that component. Or is it the font rendering?

Project M 3.5 Trailer Released, Release Date Revealed

Nice, looking forward to this. This update just feels like it'll take P:M to the next level.

GameCube Controller not Inputting Soft Triggers.

An easy hack you can do to your GC controller is to remove the spring below each trigger. That way, you don't have to deal with the upward force they exert, which in turn might make the button presses softer? Give it a try. AFAIK, it's a "street legal" modification.

Project M's AI is too good (A compilation of AI Glitches)

One thing I've noticed with Link's AI is that he's not fully aware of his weight, which gets him into situations where he can't recover back to the stage despite his best efforts.
