yet, if you don't put it in the Regional, nobody will really see, therefore low attendance.
Just in NC related threads, don't mention how Brawl is better. People won't like you if you do that. Since 99% of NC plays Melee, even if they play Brawl as well.
lol my Crew doesn't post and they like Brawl more. I just like Melee more.
unspoken rule of smashboards: Don't talk about how Brawl is better than Melee, but the other way around is fine. Not sure why, it just always ends up that way. Brawl gets flamed and Brawl players are flamed more, because their reason can easily be countered. Once again, not sure why. It confuses the hell out of my why it's this way but it is.
I mean... liked. No body is going to care what he says if all he does is go around and talk about how bad Melee, and how amazing Brawl is, and how Brawl+ is just an excuse to make Brawl for like Melee. (Which it's not; btw modded Wii's don't permanently mess with the game or Wii, you have the option to use the mods you made/uploaded)

I suppose you could say that in many instances, but in melee you could ledgetech and ledgedash, making the ledgegame unique and various in its own way. In Brawl, characters like Ganon have a very limited ledgegame when compared to melee. Edgeguarding is more interesting in Brawl though because it is more difficult (if you don't pick Meta)
I would say there are more ways to apply mindgames in melee, using wavedashing and dash dancing for example. Mindgames in Brawl depend HIGHLY on the character used, while in Melee any character has a mindgaming tool (wavedashing primarily).
Tourneys won't be until then anyways. =P I'll keep you updated.
There might be a Smashfest at my friends house, I'll get back to you on that.
Every good brawl pro knows that melee is better on a competitive level. You have to ask senior melee players who made the switch, for example M2k.
Tripping ruins any hope that Brawl has for being a legitimate competitive game, as well as Metaknight and Snake.
I'm sure you do, but in the competitive community, you might not be so lucky in Brawl. But every one who plays Melee will be more than happy to train you. -
