There's no extra fees for playing in tournaments. Once you pay for the event badge you're good to enter any tournament.

Nope. Once you register for the event there's no separate entry fee for any tournament. :-)

There are a LOT of newbies with potential at these conventions as well as the occasional player already involved in the community. Even if you're not a big fan of anime, I urge you to attend and help some of these newbies get more involved in the more hardcore fighting game community...
