Here are my recolors for the Dee; The first color being the default, the next three being the Kirby's Rainbow Curse's Dees, the first two on the bottom row are Kirby and Metaknight I tried, and the last two being Sailor Dee and Kirby's Spear Ability Hat.

Bandana Dee would make a cool assist trophy if not playable, demoting him to a custom move wouldn't be very respectful in the vein of "alternate costumes can't be seperate characters because it devalues the character" thing. Although Bandana Dee SHOULD be playable, it'd be kind of weird imo...

I didn't make this image, I'd agree with you if you were talking about Dark Pit but Dr. Mario and Bowser Jr. look very similar to the reference pictures. On other note, Ness, Jigglypuff, Shulk, Dunk Hunt Dog, and ROB don't have pictures that look similar in some way.

Oh my Seems like Sakurai is either referencing Bandana Dee in a way, or just thought it'd be nice to have Metaknight attacking a Waddle Dee just because.
