I don't know why I read that as "Zelda can rick-roll really well"

I've been trying this out a fair bit and it usually works well. Well, I haven't tried it against Pit, but SH NL is actually a pretty good approach for Zelda. NL slows down your momentum when you're in the air and is also much faster this way. Be careful of people shielding it though.

Sheik = Zelda. Zelda is inherently always a woman. Therefore referring to Sheik as a woman is always correct. Referring to Sheik as male is where the debates come in.

Good times, good times. I also really liked that beautiful water fight where Luthien stomped on spazn and drowned her. But as I recall, there was one point where spazn grabbed Luthien and molested him for a good 5 minutes even though there was a little blonde kid right beside them.

That makes me unhappy D: I always liked creepily stalking reading your advice in the melee Zelda boards.
