I saw my mistake, im rushing these posts. Footstools arent in Melee. Meteorsmashing is though. Sorry for my stupidity from rushing these posts.

Spikes and footstools arent hard in Melee....

Well, that "wet noodle" is anything but bad. His ability to keep them at a close range with it having littile knockback allows quick and extended combos, while his side allows him to float longer, which can let him land a footstool or spike.

I dont know @Plunder, Roy has several good kill setups that arent stage dependent. His down tilt is a quick and easy way to get things done. His laggy aerials can trip people up, as not many are used to his aerial game. I feel Roy has much better kill setups, agility and top tier DNA to be below DK.

Probably not the right place to ask but, is Melee Netplay worth getting? I've heard some good things, and bad things about it. It's hard to find people willing to play Melee anymore, so Netplay might be my only chance at practice, but I don't want to get it only for there to be no one who uses...

I'd have to agree with @Tocaraca2, there is plenty of edge-guarding in sm4sh, and it is actually a major part of the game now that Ledge Trumping is involved. Air game and Ledge game are MUCH more important in Sm4sh than other games, as before you could just sit on the ledge at the right time...

Kirby is way too light to even matchup with Fox. Fox's up-smash kills at ridiculously low percents, so imagine how that acts on Kirby and Jigglypuff. Plus, Kirby is terrible at approaching in Melee, so Fox can just space out with lazers and shines, and eventually kill him off the top in seconds...

The salt on both the Sm4sh side and the Brawl side is infuriating. Brawl unfortunately is a dead game, as many people were not open for the change from Melee to Brawl in terms of gameplay. Then, when Sm4sh came out, people knew the change wasn't going away, so it had a bigger competitive scene...
