The community hasn't been the same since Brawl split it. Granted the casual vs competitive thing always existed.

Pretty much every tournament I've seen is boring. None of the players do anything remotely impressive. It's like watching For Glory with more stages and Diddy Kong everywhere.

I wouldn't take the list seriously. It has Mario 41 freaking places above Dr Mario.

All tournaments right now are meh to be honest. Still no Mac and Pikachus that utilise their tools properly. Just Diddy, Sonic and Ness spamming grabs and throws.

How is ZSS doing? Didn't she get buffed in the patch. I never really see her being used. Is Greninja bad now? It isn't being used much either.

Depends on where you go. Some people are really liberal like most people in this thread while some are more conservative with what is allowed. Pokemon Stadium 2 was always 50/50 anyway.

Neutral stages don't exist. The whole starter/counterpick is bad because what makes one stage better than another for starting a game.

What happened to Rosalina? Longer Luma respawn times is one thing but everything else people were whining about is still there still isn't it. What about ZSS and Greninja? Has Diddy winning a few tournaments in the early stages of the game made the whole game change to counter Diddy?

Does the Smash competitive scene always make such sweeping judgments about the game's meta while it is in infancy? Seems like a bunch of overreacting to me.

It doesn't need to be tested any more than equipment that increases attack should be tested. It will never happen.

Still doesn't stand a chance at happening because it is no different then using equipment to add attack. It may subjectively make the game more fun for some but it isn't going to be an actual thing outside of casual play and bad side events.
