One strategy I used to use was the fullhop-dair to zero lag landing fsmash. Although there is a slight amount of lag with this, only a few characters are able to fully dodge the smash.

It's got a bit of hitbox below as well. Great for edge guarding (I'm serious. It works). I call it the soul ejector.

So I played against a rather good Kirby today, and I noticed that all the kirby strategies seem to counter Lucas. Kirby's brick makes trying to counter attacks from above rather difficult, and I just couldn't seem to get used to the range of his melee attacks. Kirby can jump over the PkF...

Psi Magnet hits when the attack is ended, meaning when the animation is finishing.

Lucas' PsiMag seems to activate faster than Ness' so that's an effective technique vs. a Falco at a distance. Makes him come to you, and when he dows, just dodge and punish.

When you hit him with the Dair, I'm assuming you hit all 4 times. What I'd recommend is landing next to him and hitting him with an FSmash.

It's difficult to get used to, but once you do it's an incredible strategy. Plus, with bsticking you can use PsiMag Pull which can be one of the most effective recoveries in the game when paired with zap jumping. Don't worry about those for now.

However, you have a chance of tripping. Worth the tradeoff though. Bsticking > getting hit with projectiles.

Fsmash reflects, that's been known since Melee and Ness' bat. I was hoping I'd stumbled upon something new here :P.
