Fatality should be over Tearbear. He has better placements, and has also defeated Nietono. Sure he lost to Larry, but Fatality two stocked Tearbear and then beat him again in the Falcon round robin.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think he had said something about customs just complicating how much MU data one would have to delve into, and since the cast is already 50+, that's a LOT of MU data to study.

ZeRo is adamant about not using customs, it would be kinda strange for him to abuse them when he dislikes them. It's not technically my thesis, ZeRo and Esam are the ones who spurred the idea that Custom Pikachu is broken. ZeRo probably could have abused HSB but he entered evo with the mindset...

Another bit of advice: If you have a way of recording your matches with your friend, you should. That way, you can go back and study your habits and adjust accordingly. Also study your friend's habits, too. :)

Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with Puff, but it should work the same. Use her superior air game to work around Link's projectiles and gimp him off the edge. You can punish him with rest, but it'll take a bit of practice.

Smother him. Link is all about spacing and set ups with his tools. If you're able to control the stage, push the pace, and back him into situations he's not comfortable in, then you can really hurt his play. Every Link main is different, but we all HAVE to depend on our projectiles, so...
