Smash has a lot of clones and echo fighters, most of them from the same series. I find the sole exception of Captain Falcon and Ganondorf interesting, and we came up with some similar stuff on the EAC and Expand-a-franchise threads, which is what inspires this game.
Person A will pick a fictional character (that character may or may not be in Smash, but characters in Smash will probably be easier to make clones of), and Person B will choose a character that can be a clone of Person A's character, but NOT a character from the same series. Person B will then leave a new character for the next person to choose a cross-series clone for. You can also leave a short description of the small differences between the character and their clone, if you want.
Example:
Person A
Captain Falcon (F-Zero)
Person B
Blaziken. The only difference is his Final Smash, a huge fireball that he kicks at the opponent.
Min-Min
Person C
Ristar, but he could have less kick moves and more grapple moves.
Kazuya
And the cycle continues. I'll start us off:
Mario (Super Mario Bros)
