Every thing works fine except when I go to play Project M. It goes dark for a few seconds then takes me back to my Wii's main menu. I have all the correct files on my SD card for the hackless version of Project M. I've tried multiple times to get it to work, but it just ends up taking me back to my Wii's main menu every single time. If anyone has any ideas to help me out with this problem I'll be eternally happy. Thank You. :D

I'm having the exact same problem, only instead of taking me back to the Wii menu it just restarts Brawl. Someone please help :(

I believe that happens when you use the Start button on your controller rather than the A button to start Project M from the Gecko launcher.

This was a problem for me as well. The only solution I have found was to keep trying. its as if my wii needs to warm up with 3, sometimes even 10 tries... idk why but it tends to work best for me when the wii is on its side. Hope this helps :061:

For anybody who still has this issue:
-Download Gecko OS from WiiBrew.
-Open the zip and navigate to Gecko1931>HBC>Gecko1931.
-Extract its contents (boot.elf, icon.png, meta.xml) to the root of your SD card.
-Say yes to any overwrites.
-Go to stage builder and the Gecko OS will load.
-Select "launch game".
If you get a disc read error the first time keep trying!

Doing this replaces the Project M launcher added in 3.0.1 with one that works just as well, aside from not being able to use the update feature.
