Weird Stage Select Bug

I've always played the game through CFG USB Loader, but when I tried to replicate the setup on a new Wii, new save file, this happened:

L and R don't switch screens, stage striking doesn't work, and choosing a stage freezes the game. Also, page 2 of rules is nowhere to be found.

One inconsistency is that I'm using a Wii branded 1GB SD card instead of the Sandisk 2GB one, other than that it's the same ISO on the same flash drive, and the same build of CFG copied over. Tomorrow I'll check the hackless method to see if it has the same issue.

It seems the unlock everything code in P:M didn't take effect in your game. Notice how the unlockable stages such as Spear Pillar (Saffron) and Mario Bros. (FoD) are missing from Page 1. I'd recommend downloading a complete save file somewhere, and using that with this Wii. It should fix the problem.

It's not a save file issue. The codeset did not apply. Use a different sd card or try reformatting the card.
