Weird Online Observation

After a long bout of lag stalling the game for 30 seconds, the game seems to continue but the person I was fighting is MUCH worse than they were before. Level 5 AI bad. I think they timed out and got replaced with an AI. A bummer because some really intense battles were ended this way.

Anyone else having this problem?

Yes when huge lag is present, both of you are actually dropped from the game, you will be fighting a replacement bot mean while he will be fighting one as well that is your character. I suppose it's just so that instead of getting the no contest screen you can least finish your match. Though I haven't looked weather or not it actually affects your for glory record.

As far as I've heard, that's what happens when one of you DCs. Your opponent is replaced by a level 3 cpu.
