Yes in Sm4sh, so he knows the match-up well. Sonic is one of Link's least bad high tier match-ups for sure. Lawz will upload a set against Cam when they can set that up, because obviously Lawz knows the match-up well. Some of our best footage is against Sonic -- Kirin knows the match-up, so the Apex set against DJ relly is useful. Scizor once narrowly beat a Sonic 2-1, that extraordinary set was on Twitch but is gone now sadly. StaticManny went his Link 2 games in winner's finals against a Sonic, losing both, then decided to switch to Sonic himself and won easily in the ditto. I brought Ixis to his last stock game 1, when he went more aggressive. Then boomerang works well for any spin dash involved approaches. Yet game 2 he played more slowly and patiently, in which case Sonic can easily outplay us by tricking us into shielding or committing to a laggy boomerang / something else, and he 2-stocked me. He did well that tournament too,
he took two games from Mr-R and placed third. I did Jab1Jab2Utilt him a few times, and got a Dsmash kill from it. Maybe...?
He knows the match-up, that's for sure. But in general it's at least doable. I must point out though that Cat had to go MK against a somewhat decent (but far from great) Sonic main here. It can be very tricky, especially when they play more slowly.
