Thursday 16th
We set off without any trouble this morning. Everyone seems to be getting on well, and it's nice to have so many of my friends together in one place. Still, I'm nervous about this whole expedition. Hopefully we'll pick up our cargo and head back without incident. Weather permitting, I think everyone will enjoy it, and hopefully they'll be none the wiser.
If the worst comes to the worst, we can cut someone in and give them a few bottles. It doesn't do them any favors to rat me out, and I need this trip to be a success. Without it, I'm done for.

"Hey. Did you speak to Jack?"
"Yeah. He says we should reach the islands in a couple of days. When we get there, he'll meet his contact, and then they'll load the stuff on board the following night."
"Good. Do you know where he's hiding it?"
"No. I can't just ask him something like that, or he'll get suspicious. I told him I was worried about someone finding it, but he told me it was under control."
"Damn. Well we'll just have to make him tell us. I've got a handgun with me, that will probably persuade him."
"Calm down. We can't confront him until we make it back to Florida, understand? If there's any trouble with the coastguard, we lay the blame on Jack and walk away.
"But then we leave behind all of the liquor."
"Keep your voice down. And yes. But it's better that than we go to jail and leave the liquor behind."
"Fine. Have it your way."
"Listen. I doubt you would even have been invited on this trip if it wasn't for me. Just enjoy your holiday for the next few days, we'll deal with Jack when we get back, and we'll all get what we want."
"Alright. Are we meeting again tomorrow evening?"
"If I hear anything new, I'll let you know. Otherwise, no."

*BANG!*
"What in the hell was that?"
"I don't know! Jack?"
"****!"

"Alright, is this everyone? Where's Jacqueline?"
"I haven't seen her since this evening, about half six?"
"She said she was going to bed"
"Well wake her up then, damnit!"
"I tried already. Her door's locked and I couldn't hear anything. If she slept through that gunshot and me banging on her door, I don't know."
"Maybe she took a sleeping tablet."
"****. What the hell is going on. Which one of you brought a gun onto my boat, damnit?!"
"...."
"I would never do something like that, not without telling you"
"Fine. I'm going to get my keys, and we'll find out."

Friday 17th
Jacqueline's room was empty. There was no sign of her at all. I couldn't believe it. I went through everyone's room, and turned up nothing. Then I checked the stowaway, just to be sure. There was no way she was still on the boat. Unless she hit her head on something and fell off, this was murder.
I sent everyone back to sleep and told them to lock themselves in. Then I spent the rest of the night going through people's luggage and looking for the gun. Either someone much smarter than me has hidden it, or it's gone over the side as well.
I don't know what the hell I'm going to do about this. I'm devastated.
