The Project M 3.02 tourney will happen tomorrow, and it'll feature both Bstuk and JCaesar (the latter I'm not sure of). After their performances, I'll make changes to the list. How did DrinkingFood place at this tournament where he beat Sethlon?

I've played all the diddys besides junebug and ignoring junebug because idk where to put him i would probably go boss>luck>disqo. Third spot is pretty hard to place and could definitely go to guru or DLA. ugh too many diddys

god i took like a week break from smashboards and still have like 4 pages of trash talk to catch up on

Going off placements of diddy mains, I'm inclined to agree with disqo, DLA has put in work recently though according to his post.

Question, why just top 3, if you have a true quality match against another great player, why not post it? Good play is good play no matter who it's from. You can't deny it.

That goes for every character.

Yeah sorry dude. Luck doesn't reach top 3. But I can understand why you'd think so, due to his already skilled banana play, which unfortunately, boss and junebug lack. Luck has also been in your region and played you, oracle, much more than any other diddy, including me. So of course it would feel he has the edge. However, and its a big however, that alone can't differentiate his placing as top 3 diddy. Even with boss and Junes lacking banana game, the two are smarter, better players, with better placing against better players and blah blah blah.
Hell, I'd love to say that I deserve the next spot, but factual evidence goes in DLAs favor, who said he's beaten just about everyone in his region worth mentioning basically.

I didn't even know JaimeHR played Bowser. He's honestly so on and off there's barely any footage to keep track of.

Question, why just top 3, if you have a true quality match against another great player, why not post it? Good play is good play no matter who it's from. You can't deny it.

To add to what Oracle said, I want to say that I recognize that there are many great players out there. That's why I'm perfectly happy to add anyone's videos to the OP even if they're not part of the Top 3. Good play can still be appreciated. Plus, there are some characters that don't even have three players to fill up their slot lol

From the little footage we've seen, I'd say that JaimeHR should be the top Bowser, followed by Nick Riddle. Both have beaten quite a lot of high-level players, and maybe someone from Chicago can correct me on this, but I don't think Kirk is placing as well recently.

I think the reason why he doesn't place as well is because he runs into Laz a lot, and Link is one of Bowser's absolute worst MU's.

It's also worth noting that Mewtwo wasn't out for that long of a period at APEX, so on top of people not having experience against Melee Mewtwo in the first place, even fewer would have had experience against a PM Mewtwo of Taj's caliber.

I still suggest you add Emukiller, he gets excellent tournament results and he beat Zero a little while ago. He is probably one of the best Mew2s out there right now
