Why the hand?
He won't be a generally playable character but it would be cool if you had a special vs Master Hand mode where you could either vs Master Hand or be Master Hand and see how many standard character you could beat. A nice little secret mode you could unlock.

And yes if you wanted to go all out you could have 2+ players, one as Master Hand and the other as Crazy Hand both with different move sets.

That wasn't Master Hand in Kirby Superstar

If you count him as Master Hand, you might as well count Andross, Tiki Tong, Bongo Bongo, etc.

His name is "Wham Bam Rock"

Wham Bam Rock may have been an inspiration for Master Hand and Crazy Hand, but they aren't one and the same.

Well technically separate but with almost the exact same move set. It's just the same thing renamed and reskinned.

I don't remember Master Hand breaking his fingers into several pieces and having them rain on his opponents.

That move exists in SSB. The one where the hand rains down the blocks for a few seconds. Same end result in reality.

Yep. SSB master Hand is just a renamed/reskinned boss from another game .

Master Hand is not a reskin of Wham Bam Rock, nor do they have the same moveset. Wham Bam Rock doesn't shoot lasers from it's fingers. It doesn't fly around like a rocket into the backround before trying to ram Kirby.

Really, there is no reason to say Master Hand first appeared in Kirby SuperStar.
