KROKOROK FOR SSB4!!!​

Some people claim to have no idea how Jigglypuff was selected to be the game. To be simple; it was because of the anime. So, it only seems fit that the next wild Pokémon that followed Ash Ketchum and his friends around join the Brawl.

WHO IS KROKOROK?​

Krokorok is a Ground/Dark Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Black and White as the evolution of Sandile and the pre-evolution of Krookodile. The Krokorok from the Anime was one that could be consistently be identified by his sunglasses (alternate costume, perhaps?) and followed Ash around for 62 episodes before finally being caught. Since then, Not only has Krokorok evolved into Krookodile, but has become one of Ash's most powerful Pokémon in Unova.

WHY KROKOROK?​

Krokorok would be a perfect Pokémon to include as it completes the pattern we've come to know with getting new reps; Every third rep of a series is a villain. Mario, Luigi, and then Bowser. Link, Zelda, and then Ganondorf. Heck, even Samus, Zero Suit Samus, and Ridley (most likely)! But Pokémon's a special case; the series is currently on it's seventh rep, the first six being Pikachu (protagonist), Jigglypuff (supporting), Mewtwo (villain), Pichu (supporting), Pokémon Trainer (protagonist), and Lucario (supporting). Though some might say Krokorok isn't a villain, he's a rival to Pikachu, which counts as a villain in most books.

Another reason for Krokorok's inclusion is his importance in the anime; in the early Best-Wishes series he was essentially the Jigglypuff of the generation. Krokorok is blossoming with personality; a cool, confident croc with a bit of insecurity on the inside.

Ash caught it and it evolved.

It's also not at all villainous, and it being a "rival" to Pikachu doesn't translate to "villain". There's the concept of "friendly rivalry", which Pikachu and Krookodile have with each other. Sonic and Knuckles are rivals, and Knuckles is in no way a villain.

I support only because I would be interested in seeing sand-based attacks integrated into Smash. He also reminds me of Crocodile.
