Sweet spotting the ledge from below

I've been having issues is sweetspotting the ledge from below with Ness' recovery. I always go too far and it's very easy for people to edge guard. Any tips?

Ness can't auto snap to the ledge from below like he can from above, you just have to learn the distances and try to go low/far enough that it ends just below the ledge, or use a wall to ride up against to shorten the length.
