SSS Freezes when editing

Been trying to edit my SSS. Most of the time it's fine but often I'll try to place an icon/preview and it will freeze when I press start at the CSS.

Any idea what causes this and what I can do to not get it to freeze?

you may have reached the filesize limit on a file within common5.pac. try decreasing the quality of the images you used to replace the stage previews.
