Hello, first allow me to express my enthusiasm for Project M. As a whole, I probably will not use exclusively Project M, I am likely using about 80% of the movesets from this project. However, I encountered an issue with the 3 Pokemon. Awhile ago I had all 3 working with no issue, but due to some circumstances I've had to reset my brawlmods folder. When I attempted to use the Pokemon again, I was unable to use them.

I am using Riivolution, by the by. If I try to place the MotionEtc files in the Pokemon's respective directory alone, and the game crashes once I attempt to select a stage, if not within 10 seconds after selecting a Pokemon. If I attempt to alter the files in Common4 (?) and Common5, then I cannot get past the loading screen to get even to the title, presumably because the file sizes are too large. If I delete the MotionEtc Files from the Common files, then I get the same issue as the first.

If I use the GCT included in the package, then everything is spiffy, but sadly that results in quite a few other projects aside from P:M no longer work properly. As far as I can see, the only required code specifically for this to work is the Independent Pokemon Engine, which I have included. I am wondering if there is something I have overlooked. Every other PSA seems to work, but this one specifically seems to disagree with my current set up, and I hope perhaps someone out here has a solution that my 4 days searching could not solve.

Thank you, and I do sincerely apologize if this is a very simple solution that has been solved already. I honestly have searched my own for days for a solution, but yielded nothing.

You aren't supposed to modify any files or codes in Project M. They're required for the game to function.

Pretty much this. We can't provide support when you are modifying the code-set in an unfinished game. Once the game is done, the PMBR said they will release their code for modifications and such. Right now, not enough is stable to promote modifying the codeset.

we aren't concerned with assisting those having problems playing anything other than the official project m release, sorry.

Very well. Although I had no intention of modifying the code, I suppose the responses clearly indicate something with the P:M GCT file is what enables the Pokemon to run independently, which explains why my game crashes when I try to drag-and-drop the .pac files to my SD card. It works for other characters, but I suppose the Pokemon are different. Oh well, it's a shame, they looked like they would be fun to play, but I would rather keep my current set up. Good day.

Except for when you made this topic specifically asking how to modify the code.
Or it could have simply meant I honestly did not know why these Pokemon were crashing my game, and came to the source to perhaps find out why. The result of course, as I know now, is that the P:M GCT is responsible, and the solution found within is not being shared at present. Had I known this, I would not have created this thread. Thus you have genuine asking for assistance, without intent to alter the code. I was only attempting to offer all possible information, including the fact I use Riivolution, the section of my own code (which is widely shared by the Brawl hacking community), and the altering of my common.pac(s), as that is customary when asking for help.

Believe what you will. Lock/Delete this thread if you wish, or keep it open and continue as you were.
