Brought to you by UM and MSU, this Saturday in Ann Arbor, Michigan will be SWEET XVII. SWEET is part of an interuniversity tournament series that brings in Midwest players and out of state players alike. The tournament will be starting bright and early with Melee Doubles starting at 12pm EST and Melee Singles beginning at 2pm EST. Armada will be in attendance, bridging Paragon and Apex with this tournament in between. This is certainly a platinum age for Melee that is being capitalized on after the events of EVO 2014 and The Big House 4. This will help to keep that hype train chugging onwards to next weekend! This afore salt cannot event prepare anyone for what will unfold next weekend. Enjoy the event and keep the legend alive! There's also 2 other reasonably big tourny happening. Queen City melee 5 is happening in Burlington, Vermont and Neo Canadia 5 is happening in toronto this weekend too!

So far, I'm pretty hyped for the Kage vs. Bizzaro match. Both people using mains that, while still pretty good, are not recognized or played as much as Fox, Falco, Marth, or the like. I'm always hyped for people that use lower-tier characters.

I think Axe will win, But washington is my region, so I hope SW wins
