September tournament dates

What weekends in September would work best for people if a large tournament were to be held during that month in SoCal? The beginning of October is also up for grabs. The contenders are:

1st-2nd
8th-9th
15th-16th
22nd-23rd: weekend before most UC's start. UCLA, being weird, starts on Thursday the 27th.
29th-30th

Some other important dates (AKA why September is best):
July 12-14: FC Next
July ??: 0C3
July 27-29: Evo West
August 17-19: MLG Chicago
August 24-26: Evo World (Vegas)
September 21-23: MLG Orlando

When are high schools going back in session? Would having a (two day) tournament the weekend before high school starts be a problem? Are any weekends in general better than others?

I could use some help on this .

Most high schools start at the end of August I believe.

IMO, 8th-9th and 15th-16th weekends work really well. It would be god-awful to have a tournament on the weekend before college starts, since people are moving in to apartments/dorms around that time.

go for one of the middle dates, 8-9, 15-16.

8-9 could be a problem because it's only 2 weeks after Evo World. Would NorCal/AZ/etc be willing to travel to two big tourneys that close together?

15-16 is a little better, but it's also a full week before school starts, which is usually when freshmen are moving in for "week of welcome" kinda stuff. But it's definitely better than 22-23.

So what about 29-30?
