Players will be drafted until each team has an equal amount of players, any remaining players will have their entry fee refunded. Crews will face off in a round robin format with each match consisting of best of 3 sets, the top 2 crews will then face off in a final match up with each match consisting of best of 5 sets. This is meant to be an inclusive, fun and fair event and myself and others will be doing our best to ensure crews are fairly equal in player strength and that as many players as possible are able to participate.

Draft Crew Changes

To keep things interesting and give all players the ability to play I've decided to go with a format change. With this format crews can have an uneven number of players if needed.

Players will declare which character they are playing for the entirety of the crew battle when registering for the draft - players MUST stick to this character for the entirety of the draft crew tournament.

Draft Crews will follow a standard "shared stock" format.

4 Crew double elimination bracket - each crew has 32 stocks.

Crew captains will select which player and how many stocks they have, then relay that message to a neutral third party. Captains can give players between 2 and 4 stocks (unless on the final selection the crew is down to their final stock).

Each player MUST be selected once per match - it is the crew captains responsibility to ensure that they have proper allocated stocks to ensure each player has played.

Stage Selection

To expedite, the stage selection is limited to the following 5 neutral stages and will be random each match.

Pokemon Stadium 2
Final Destination
Yoshi's Island (Brawl)
Battlefield
Smashville
