Smash Rookie
Attention Tri-state Smashers! This September 13th at Mr. Beery's in Bethpage, NY we are holding the first bi-annual Pajama Jam/Pajama Smash! From 12pm till 5am we will be having eighteen hours of live music, a melee/project m tournament, a giant game of twister, and more events still pending.
We will be doing friendlies starting at noon until the tournament begins. For Project M you can preregister now or register at the door up to 7:30pm. The tournament will last from 8-11p.m. Melee registration starts today and ends at 11:30p.m on the 13th. The Melee tournament will start at midnight and will last as long as it needs to. After that we will have friendlies until you feel like going home!
Rules:
This tournament is being held in a bar so this will be a 21+ event.
Project M registration fee: $5
Melee registration fee: $5
Venue Fee: $10 at the door, $7 if you show up in pajamas.
Project M: Single bracket, bracket will be decided by World Martial Arts Tournament rules. Matches will be 8 minutes, 4 stock apiece. Sets will be decided by best 2 out of 3. Semi and Grand Final matches are best 3 out of 5.
Melee: Double bracket, bracket will be decided by World Martial Arts Tournament rules. Matches will be 8 minutes, 4 stock apiece. Sets will be decided by best 2 out of 3. Semi and Grand Final matches are best 3 out of 5.
Preregistration Format:
You can preregister for the tournament through square.com/cash. The email should be addressed to promontoryentertainment@yahoo.com. In the field for Cc address to cash@square.com. In the subject include the dollar amount e.g. $5.00 if you were signing up for one tournament. And in the body of of the email please confirm which event you are registering for and your name/gamer tag/handle/nickname/or whatever you feel like being called.
