Has Samus's roll doge been improved?

Distance and time are the same, but I think she enters and exits the roll a little faster.

its a tad bit faster actually.

just like gum said its a bit faster, and i think its better compared to her roll in melee

 

[Mars-]

It might be a bit better but the real use is only if your opponent can't punish you for it, which that might seem true. However, dispite this, most pro players will still probably refrain from rolling as much as possible.
