If another (different) player dies while someone is being hit by Roy's final smash, they don't respawn. EVER.

Actually they do, it's just they take forever to die and then respawn. Believe me, I've tried 20-minute Brawls trying custom music and this has happened to me.

I was playing against ZSS and missed initially, but ended up killing her with the explosion and afterwards it took forever for her to respawn, and the camera stayed the same from the Final Smash
