The Chozo Warrior!

Note: I got this idea from a user named Quilt in my roster judging thread.

Who is it?
It is a warrior of an ancient race called the Chozo.
I don't know much about Metroid lore, but I'll say why I know.
The Chozo where an ancient race of bird like creatures that lived on many planets.
When Samus' parents where killed by Space Pirates, se was taken in and trained by the Chozo.
They taught her all her techniques, like curling into a ball.

Why this?
This would be a great way to represent Metroid lore.
It could represent a lost species of Metroid, to people that have never pleated any Metroid games before.

Moveset potential?
As I said, I don't keno much about Metroid.
But I do know that it could use a staff (eat your heart out waddle dee) and it has armor similar to that of Samus.

I actually got this idea from someone in my roster judging thread.
I'll go back and see his name so ican give him recognition in the OP.

I don't know the Metroid series too well. The only guy I really want is Ridley because he reminds me of Firebrand and he's a space dragon. What's a Chozo look like?

Edit: Nevermind, the picture above didn't load for me to see.

Meh, it looks okay. I'd still rather have Ridley.

A Chozo looks like the guy in the OP. The giant bird man with a spear.

Now, I wouldn't go out of my way to support a random Chozo, but they do have an importance in the Metroid series. Perhaps if we ever get a Chozo character to start appearing more often within the series, then it would be something to look into.

From the looks, I would prefer Chozo Warrior more than Ridley IMO.
Fewl. Ridley has that as breakfast. :troll:

*each word contains a different link

Real talk though... I wouldn't mind supporting a Chozo warrior if it had any real chance. Would prefer it over say Fusion Suit Samus being her own character or something as opposed to another palette swap at least, or that one black space marine no one bothers to remember. With the kind of armor it has a Chozo would still be Samus-esque of course but at the same time would be more... bird-like in terms of its fighting style/characteristics?

So do you support, it doesn't have to be realistic for you to like it.
You seem to like the idea.

Well when you put it that way, yeah. I definitely support a Chozo and like the idea.

It's just... you know. The last Metroid game (Other M) seems to be getting repped the most in SSB4, and it had like no Chozo material in it whatsoever, as it was mostly a story about the Federation. The Chozo themselves may have very well become extinct awhile ago in the series, so they wouldn't make a major appearance again, aside from more mention in some lore maybe. Sad if that's the case, as they were a proud, noble race.

I support this. If I understand correctly, the Chozo are not extinct per se. They evolved into beings of pure energy. It's because Samus has been given Chozo blood that she is able to turn her body into energy and use the morph ball.
