It sold very poorly in Japan, so much so that it probably caused the game to not be localized elsewhere, canceling a European localization of the game in the process. His ballot support is also very small, but requests for him are
existent in Japan.

My interest in the character diminished over time, especially when considering DLC. His game is still... interesting to say the least and I wish I could play it.
Ivy
Chance and Want: Double Zeroes
Soul Calibur might be a popular fighting game series and Ivy is a reoccurring character, but she has absolutely no requests and therefore no ballot support. Her design is also too much for Smash, which is the reason why the Tharja trophy was removed from the game. I think that we would get a different 3rd party character and if for some reason get another Namco rep, I can realistically see Sakurai reconsider Heihachi and make him playable.
I never played Soul Calibur to be honest mainly due to having no interest in the franchise (I'm considering trying out Tekken one day to be honest). If I do play a Soul Calibur game, it would be the second one; I wouldn't buy it for her, but for Link.

We don't have Saki as a playable character in Smash and in the Smash Direct back in April last year, he had the Smash icon. That's not good.
