Hey you! Yeah, you! With your mouth full of chips leaning over your computer. Are you feeling ballsy with your speculation? Do you wish to rouse others who don't agree with you? Wanna test how accurate those strands are to Sakurai-san? Well you came to the right place!
This thread is a game in which you place your bets on to what will be revealed next for Super Smash Brothers for Wii U/3DS. From characters to stages to modes to little details and everything in between, you may gamble your luck between more than two users. How does it work?
User A posts the terms of their predictions, the time limit the bet will last, and the punishment for the loser.
User B replies to their bet with their predictions. User A's bet is now valid.
The terms in the bet were revealed. User B was accurate. User A was wrong.
User A now serves his punishment. User B walks away with bragging rights.
Rules:
-There is a limit of 6 predictions you may list in one bet. Adjust your number to what you see fit.
+Additionally, whatever number the user hosting the bet has set, no users may go above the number.
-If you agree to a bet, you must make your bets in the category of the host (e.g. character bets are replied with other characters)
-For playable character bets, you are limited to no more than 3 predicts.
-For time limits, you have the option to leave it by any date you desire or indefinitely. Keep in mind when you make an indefinite bet, it will expire upon the first release date for either Wii U or 3DS regardless of player region.
-The terms of a bet are NOT in effect unless all parties participating agree to the bet.
-Bets that seek to cause injury or slander to one or a group of people will be outright banned.
-This game will expire on the first release date for either Wii U or 3DS regardless of player region.
-You must monitor your bets yourself. I will NOT be making an archive of them.
To kick things off to a strong start, I'll post my first bet.
I predict that AT LEAST one of the following characters will be revealed in today's Nintendo Direct:
-Palutena
-Little Mac
-Diddy Kong
This bet is only good until today. Whoever loses this bet must switch their avatar to anything from a children's show of their choice for 1 week. Parodies of said children's show do not count. I'll try and get on 1 hour before the Direct is set to air to approve any challengers.
