So i was in training mode testing out pac man until i came across something interesting .
Ok so what happens is that when you stand on a platform and fast fall out of it and activate up air instantly you wil still stand on the platform and the up air wil still come out. You have to be really fast though i recomend going to training mode and set the speed to 2/3 or 1/2 to practice doing it. I dont think this is very usefull but its cool.
Edit: you can combo this into side tilt or forward air on certain percentages.

This could actually be really useful. Uair has a ridiculous amount of hitstun and true combos into Utilt at most percents.

Thank you, I will be taking this into the lab. Here's to hoping Jab cancel>standing Uair>Utilt>Uair is the true combo I want it to be.

So this is actually really easy to do. I know what I'll be practicing on my flight to France :D

So this is trickier to do on 3DS, but so far it seems you can combo this into a grab at 0-20%, combo it into jabs around 0-50ish%, and into fair.

I couldn't make Utilt work sadly (although it may be possible to Uair>pivot Utilt with A sticking, but yeah can't really test that on 3DS.

Also it's not a true combo, but around 70-80 bell is a good follow up.

Also I can't do it on 3DS, but can someone test to see if we can do this off of whatever that tech is called where you cancel your shield drop animation by going through the platform from shield?

Actually I have sometimes accidentally done this but never bothered to explore it further. Now I will take a closer look on this, as doing this on Battlefield's platforms is going to create options. I wonder if this will combo to an Up-smash on Smashville's platform?

Reply ive tested this out and this does not combo into up smash but it does combo into fair at around 60%
U can also grab after it if the opponent dont react fast enough
U can also do uair into jab which is a true combo or so it says in training mode

This is also a good way to launch the hydrant of the platform. Bair > standing up-air. But maybe you could just launch it away with a regular up-air... This needs to develop.

Easiest way to perform is to drop down using the Control Stick then flick the C-Stick up. The later you perform the Uair, the shorter the Uair arc hitbox becomes and if done too late there is no hitbox just the animation. Also, when performing the Uair you can fast fall into the platform and I'm assuming doing so speeds the process up. And if performed near the edge of a platform, you can drift away after Uair to not stay on the platform.

*TRUE COMBOS- Tested on Ganondorf, Diddy Kong, and C. Falcon but listed here is C. Falcon in Training Mode with C-Stick set to Smash*

-Around 20% 30% it combos into Jab 1-2-3, Forward tilt (may have to angle upward to hit them if opponent DI), and Down Tilt (works more consistently when higher than 20%). If performed facing away then it can combo into forward tilt as well.

-Around 40% you can begin to combo with Fair (here it can cause the special "falling off a platform animation" i.e. can't tech) or Nair but timing is more strict.

Around 50% you can combo with Galaxian-> it hits going forward-> hits from the loop->Uair (can potentially regrab the Galaxian). Also can combo with Bell-> aerial, or simply an aerial. And this % is also when you can begin to perform the footstool.

-Around 60% you can begin to combo with Up B.

*At 70% The Galaxian and Bell become inconsistent as now you have to jump and throw it, not sure if done correctly still true combo or not. Also you can do Down B but timing is very strict (possibly at 60% too).
*Anything higher than 70% can only be followed up with an aerial (Usually Uair) or possibly Up B.

Edit: Got rid off options that were not true combos.

Interestingly you can still perform the Standing Uair even with an item like the fruit by simply Z-dropping quickly after pressing down on the control stick. The Uair of course regrabs the item. Another thing to note is if you are close enough to the opponent they can be hit by your Z-dropped fruit in addition too the Uair. The bell, having the larger hitbox, is the easiest to do this with. Not sure for follow ups though as I haven't had time to test.

Now I realized that when performing the Standing Uair you maintain aerial mobility so you can drift left or right while the Uair is active. So instead of fast falling onto the platform, by drifting towards your opponent with the Standing Uair allows for more combo followups. Here are the extra followups that open up from before by drifting towards your opponent, just don't drift too much as you can push the opponent off the platform.
****True Combos tested in Practice mode on Cpt. Falcon****
Backwards Standing Uair:
30%
SUair-> Utilt-> Up B or Nair
SUair->Up B
SUair-> Turn Around Jab 1-2-3

60%
SUair-> Bair-> Bair or Key (neutral b-reverse) * this combo can also be done facing forwards but requires turn around bair*

Forward Facing Standing Uair:
30%
SUair->Dtilt-> Fair or Key (neutral B)
SUair-> Nair
SUair-> Up B
SUair-> Jab 1-2-3

40%
SUair->Grab (+ 1 Pummel) -> Dthrow-> Fair or Key (neutral B) *Not true combo but only option to escape the grab is jump/frame 1 attack*
SUair->Usmash
SUair-> Key (neutral B)
SUair->Dtilt-> Key (neutral B)
SUair-> Utilt (or turn around Utilt to hit more consistently) -> USmash (combo ends here with this option) or Uair-> Uair /Fair/Nair/Up B
SUair-> Fair/Nair/Dair
SUair-> Jab 1-2-3

50%
SUair->Grab (+ 1 Pummel) -> Dthrow-> Fair or Key (neutral B)
SUair->Dtilt-> Key (neutral B) *all properly timed*
SUair-> Utilt-> Uair-> Uair
SUair-> Jab 1 (need to time otherwise Jab 1 misses)-2-3
SUair-> Dash Attack *only if both you and opponent are on ledge of platform*
SUair-> Usmash
SUair->Ftilt (upward/forward) *timed properly*-> key (neutral B)

60%

SUair-> Uair->Uair
SUair-> Down B-> Key (neutral B)

70%
SUair->Uair->Uair

80%
SUair->Uair->Uair
SUair-> Bell (neutral B) -> side B
SUair-> Bell-> Uair-> Uair

90%
SUair-> Bell (neutral B) -> side B
SUair-> Cherry/Strawberry/Orange/Apple/Melon/Key (Needs proper timing. You must have your Neutral B charged and must move forward then quickly jump with a rising neutral b w/ forward momentum) *Can potentially regrab item after hitting opponent except for the key*
SUair-> Galaga (Needs proper timing. You must have your Neutral B charged and must move forward then quickly jump with a rising neutral b w/ forward momentum.) -> Uair
SUair-> Bell (Needs proper timing. You must have your Neutral B charged and must move forward then quickly jump with a rising neutral b w/ forward momentum.) -> Fair-> Fair
SUair-> Bell-> Uair-> Uair
SUair->Uair->Uair

100%
SUair->Uair
SUair-> Bell (neutral B) -> side B
SUair-> Bell (Needs proper timing. You must have your Neutral B charged and must move forward then quickly full jump with a rising neutral b w/ forward momentum.) -> Uair

110%
SUair->Uair
SUair-> Bell (neutral B) -> side B
SUair-> Bell (Needs proper timing. You must have your Neutral B charged and must move forward then quickly full jump with a rising neutral b w/ forward momentum.) -> Uair

120%
SUair->Uair
SUair-> Bell (neutral B) -> side B -> Uair

130%
SUair-> Bell (Needs proper timing. You must have your Neutral B charged and must move forward then quickly full jump with a rising neutral b w/ forward momentum.) -> Uair *Can potentially kill by bell alone due to near top blastzone.*

140-150%
SUair-> Bell (Needs proper timing. You must have your Neutral B charged and must move forward then quickly full jump then double jumb with a rising neutral b w/ forward momentum.) *Can potentially kill by bell alone due to near top blastzone.*

Edit: Added more combo options considering the fruit.
And now striking out non-true combo options, will update over time.

I'm 100% sure that half of them aren't true combos...

^^I'm pretty sure the combo counter in training mode isn't accurate either. The true way to test is to have someone else mashing options like airdodge, jump, and attacks to see if something really combos.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Yeah, I know training mode isn't ideal (no rage, combo counter isn't exact) but unfortunately I only have the cpu lvl. 9 to test with. I just recently got an extra controller and did some quick solo testing to find that until 30% is when SUair is useful for combos otherwise opponent can just shield/spot dodge/roll. I'll get a buddy soon to help me test more extensively with multiple characters when we find the time.

I think the best is :

60%
Bair (Bait) -> SUair-> Utilt-> Fair -> Nair

It works at 60% , SUair-> Utilt it is true combo
