Excellent TGC 3, guys! Using tio instead of challonge as well as everybody doing what they are supposed to do sped up this event immensely. We got out of the venue around 10pm. Big Thank you to every Houston player, San Antonio player. Dallas and all the other cities ( i know there is 3 more) for for supporting TGC. Whether this was your first time or your 2nd/3rd time, thank you so much.

I Used Diddy Kong and Jiggly Puff (Won 4-5 games With Jigglypuff) Wizma used Mario, Fetch used Ness. Finally Face Megafox. Didnt do well.. i have motivation now to get better. Hopefully the videos go up before CEO! And Gnes.. why would you get eliminated so early you got the diddy players bad placings lol. but i guess its for the better good since you went all roy. Good Stuff overall to everyone, and I Agree with fliphop, Diddy didnt get hurt that bad. Shoutouts to Token for Doing a really good job in teams with me !! Tournament nerves is something that most players get. Shoutouts to Jumbo for doing work with Bowser. And Shoutouts to Xyro for putting a really successful tourney. I'm happy to hear TGC was a success and ended earlier than ever! It's possible Tio helped smooth out the process but I wonder how much running a bracket instead of pools helped with that. A lot of people that weren't there (like friends of OOC players) wanted to have access to challonge.

Also in the future I will personally see to it that we have a regular recording/stream team. IMO in 2015 this is the most important aspect to a tournament. Super glad Remo took care of it. Going forward I'd like us to put our heads together for methods to run the tournament with Challonge.

Austin for example has a great method with chips with setup numbers that they give to players, and have brought back. They always knew which setups were open and everyone followed the system because the TOs expressed how important the chips were.

Once they release the Youtube function and assuming it is not obtrusive, live recording will become mostly obsolete if people aren't lazy.

Catering to stream monsters is not the most important aspect of a tournament. Causing operational issues at the tournament for your 12 viewers is not worth the negative impact on the players that come to your events. Streaming is a nice bonus as long as you don't hold up brackets and make questionable choices just to get matches streamed.

Being esports is nice and all and I'm sure many players would enjoy the exposure, but don't dive into streaming with the wrong mindset there.

and please kill 95% of houston commentary. its mostly terrible and ruins any chance of the videos being rewatched with the sound on.
