MeleeMilwaukee andUWM Smash Brothers are proud to present Kings of the North 3, the latest in a series of WI regional tournaments. Previous kings include WI, MN, and Chicago's finest and we're looking to gather an even greater pool of talent this time around. Be ready for some of the the fiercest competition that the northern midwest has to offer.

Events
Melee 1v1 ($10 entry)
Melee 2v2 ($5 entry per player)
Project M 1v1 ($10 entry)
Project M 2v2 ($5 entry per player)
Venue Fee
Venue Fee of $10 per person— no exceptions.
$5 will be given back to anyone who brings a full setup (CRT + GC or Wii + PM or melee) available after 8:00.

Rules
- Bring Your Own Controller. There will not be any for you to borrow.
- You are responsible for yourself and your own things. Theft will be watched for but we will not be held responsible for things gone missing. Be smart.
- Be mindful of your matches. TOs can and will award a loss to anyone more than 5 minutes late to a tournament match.
- TOs reserve the right to warn, DQ or eject anyone they find acting disrespectful, aggressive or behaving in some unsavory manner.
- Know the rules to whatever events you enter.
- Do not loiter outside of the hall. You're either in playing games or out getting food etc. This is a school campus with more going on than just smash bros and you will need to be respectful of that.
- TOs reserve the right to record your likeness, be it gameplay footage or photographs.
- The TO's word is law.
* 4 stock, 8:00 minute timer.
* Items OFF.
* Pause OFF.
* Ties after the time limit are determined by stocks, then by percentage.
* Master Hand is banned.
* Wobbling is banned.
* Stalling with Jigglypuff’s Rising Pound or Peach’s Wall Bomber etc is banned.
* Glitches such as Ice Climbers’s Freeze Glitch and Mewtwo’s Soul Stunner are banned.
* The Good Dave’s Stupid Rule: You cannot counterpick any stage you have won on in a set unless agreed upon by the opponent.
Stage Strike from Neutrals for the first match of the set in “121″ fashion:
1. First player strikes one stage.
2. Second player strikes two stages.
3. First player strikes one stage.
